KINABALU MOUNTAIN BIKE EXCURSION
8 hours
Any ability level. Depart your hotel at 0800Hrs by supporting vehicle to the foothills of Mount Kinabalu. Mountain biking through beautiful countryside before stopping at a mountain stream which flows from Mount Kinabalu for lunch and swim in the cold crystal clear river.
Then continue your mountain biking to a point where you will be picked up and transfer back to your hotel. (Lunch included).
KINABALU MOUNTAIN BIKING EXPERIENCE
3 days 2 nights
Day 01: Pick up from the hotel and mountain biking to Kota Belud. Great views of Mt. Kinabalu to your right and beaches to your left. Arrive Kota Belud and check in a local motel. (L,D)
Day 02: Mountain biking through the foothills of Mount Kinabalu through beautiful countryside. Overnight at the motel. (B,L,D)
Day 03: Mountain biking to a beautiful beach and later in the afternoon,you will be transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. (B,L)
Price guide : ex-Kota Kinabalu £152 p.p. based on a minimum of two people mountain biking inclusive of all transfers accommodation and meals as specified, mountain bike, ride leader, escort vehicle and co-ordinator.

BORNEO MOUNTAIN BIKE EXPEDITION
6 days 5 nights
A 6 day mountain biking tour at a level to suite the individual. An opportunity to see the country away from tourist routes.
Day 01: You will be pick up from your hotel and transfer to Kudat at the northern part of Sabah. Mountain biking to the beautiful beaches. Overnight at hotel.(L,D)
Day 02: Mountain biking to a longhouse and stay overnight.(B,L,D)
Day 03: Mountain biking to Kota Belud and stay overnight at the motel.(B,L,D)
Day 04: Mountain biking up mountain ranges and through villages. Village hut accommodation (B,L,D)
Day 05: Mountain biking to about 5,000ft to Kundasang where you will stay at Kinabalu Rose cabin. (B,L,D)
Day 06: Final mountain biking to Poring Hotspring where you will dip into the hotspring. You may need it!. Afternoon return to hotel in KK by bus. (B,L)

Northern Village Cycling
A gentle ride though craft villages staying in a Rungus Longhouse
Day 01 Pick up at 7.00am from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu and transfer to Kota Belud. Start mountain biking in the homeland of the Cowboys of the East.Local lunch is served. In the evening you will be transfer to Rungus native longhouse for overnight. Rungus cultural dance will be performed at night (L,D)
Day 02 After breakfast, transfer to Sikuati town and start mountain biking to Northern Tip Of Borneo and proceed to Kudat town. Arrive Kudat and check in Kudat Golf and Marina Resort. (B,L,D)
Day 03 After breakfast, transfer to Nahapa and mountain biking to Camp paradise. Lunch at Kota Belud and then transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. (B,L)
Sandakan Death March
6 days 5 nights
Recognising that Sabah’s history encompasses the infamous Sandakan-Ranau Death Marches, our team, renowned internationally for their varied and innovative cycling tours, as well as locating and developing the long-lost original POW route, have devised an exclusive and unique adventure, designed especially for cyclists wishing to experience something a little different.
Two itineraries follow the routes.
ay 1: – Leaving your hotel in Kota Kinabalu at 0730hrs to Kundasang. Visit Kundasang War Memorial and then start offroad mountain biking to Kg Kibbas; continue cycling to Kg Kenipir to visit Last Campsite Memorial. Then cycling on Tambunan Highway to Slagon Homestay.Chck in room. Then countryside cycling.
Day 2: – Leaving Slagon Homestay, start offroad cycling pass padi field, Hospital to Ranau POWs Campsite , continue through old airport road to Marakau by village road, joining highway & continue cycling to Poring Junction, taking a short-cut village road to Kg Kinaratuan. Afternoon visit Poring Hotspring. Then transfer to sabah Tea Garden to stay in native longhouse.
Day 3: – Start with a morning offroad cycling inside Sabah Tea Garden, transfer to Kg Kopuron, offroad cycling along the Death March track to T-junction inside Kg Wonod, lunch & continue cycling to Kg Tapaang. Then transfer to Telupid Forestry Resthouse for overnight .
Day 4: – Transfer to Ulu Sapi, start offroad cycling along the Death March track, lunch at Kg Muanad bridge, proceed cycling to Legend Motel at Beluran.
Day 5: – Transfer to Beluran-Manjang Estate junction to start offroad cycling, end at Ulu Dusun junction at Sandakan Highway. Transfer to visit Sandakan War Memorial, then transfer to check into your hotel.
Sandakan to Pitas
Today there is a highway linking from the north part of Sabah to Telupid and it is ideal for mountain biking. A 5 days 4 night North Borneo Mountain Biking tour package is created leaving from Sandakan (Kg Dusun) mountain biking to Beluran for the first night stay in a local motel, then towards the north and camping for 2 nights along the way, ending for with a comfortably night stay in the Kudat Golf and Marina Resort. The whole cycling distance is about 200KM.
This four day/three night package now offers travellers the opportunity to combine all the benefits of cycling in the fresh air through Sabah’s rural countryside, while following a 100 km section of the Sandakan Track with our Adventure Tour’s expert team.
Across the Heart of Sabah
See the unique cultures of our Murut tribe who lived mainly in the longhouses from Keningau to Pensiangan; some of the last remaining primary forest in Sabah; to explore the Lost World Maliau Basin where few venture; experience camping riverside in the middle of nowhere and finally visit the Tawau Hills before flying back to Kota Kinabalu.
